Understanding job trends, required skills, and market demands will help you make informed decisions. Be clear on your goals and ensure they align with the program you choose. A well-researched approach will enhance your confidence and set you on the right path for success.

Entry requirement

University and college entry requirements vary widely depending on the institution and the specific course. Typically, they include a combination of qualifications, subjects, and exam grades. Some universities may require specific WASSCE, A-Level, SSCC or equivalent qualifications. Additionally, certain programs may have admissions tests, interviews, or portfolio submissions as part of their selection process. Some institutions also consider contextual admissions, where applicants facing barriers may receive adjusted grade requirements.

Filling application form

Applying early ensures you have ample time to gather documents, and meet deadlines without unnecessary stress. The application process involves fewer steps. Read our advice below to help you through the application process, step by step.

1. Personal details

Simply fill in your first and last name, date of birth, and gender and upload your passport picture. Make sure you enter your first name and middle name(s) exactly as they're stated on official documents, such as your passport, birth certificate, or Ghana Card.

2. Nationality details

Here you can fill in your where you were born and your nationality. You can submit up to two nationalities in case you have dual citizenship. Fill in the ID Type, ID Number, date issue and expire date.

3. Contact and Address

You’ll need to provide your current address, please enter the one where you spend most of your time. Enter your mobile number, email address, residential address and postal address if different from residential address.

4. Emergency contact

For an emergency contact, you should provide details of a guardian, parent, or close family member who can be easily reached in case of any unforeseen circumstances. Include the following information: Full Name, relationship to You (e.g., Parent, Guardian, Sibling), primary Phone Number (preferably a mobile number) and email Address (for non-urgent communication).

5. Family information

For the family information section, you need to provide the full name and mobile number of your parent(s). Ensure the contact details are accurate and reachable.

6. Education

Please fill in your highest educational qualifications. This might be WASSCE, SSSCE, HND, Degree, Masters, PhD or their equivalents in other countries from high school or college onwards.

7. School Attended and Upload of Certificate

In the School Attended section, list all institutions you have attended, including high school, college, or university including the school’s name, start date, completion date and graduation date. Upload the certificate and transcript of the school.

8. English Test Score (Non -English Speaking Student) - International

Students can choose the option that best suits their needs, whether through recognized English tests or preparatory courses. For non-English speaking international students, we offer a range of English language options to ensure they meet the required proficiency levels for their studies.

9. Upload of documents

In the Upload of Documents section, ensure you submit all mandatory documents while considering optional ones that could strengthen your application. We have national ID Mandatory.

Dates and deadlines

Some courses have different deadlines, and many are a long time in advance of the start of the course. Find out which deadline applies to you, and what you need to do by that deadline. You can check by clicking on the course you want to apply and find out if application deadline has passed or still open for application. If your completed application and submitted by the deadline, it is guaranteed to be considered.

Mature students

The term ‘mature student’ is usually used when referring to anyone going to university or college after a period of time out of full-time education. Typically, this will mean students who are 25 years and above of age at the beginning of their undergraduate studies. Mature students often balance their studies alongside work or caring responsibilities. Some mature students may have few or no previous qualifications, and may be taking Access courses with our partners schools, or enrolling on their first- degree course based on their work or life experiences.  You can apply with us.
